Adding Preset Packs to Allolib

1st: Download one of the preset packs labeled “SUB SYN PRESETS” or “FM SYN PRESETS.” These preset packs correspond to the Allolib synthesis modules “08_SubSyn” and “04_FM,” respectfully.

2nd: Move the contents of the folder (not the folder itself) into the correct directory within tutorials/synthesis/bin/

• For subtractive synthesis (08_SubSyn), this is the synth8-data directory
• For FM synthesis (04_FM), this is the synth4-data directory

3rd: Run the synthesis module, and look for the part of the GUI labeled “Preset Map”

4th: Click on the drop down menu that “default” is on, and click the new preset pack name

• For subtactive synthesis, it should say “Subtractive Schmieder Sounds”
• For FM synthesis, it should say “FM of the First Man”

Final: You should be able to have access to a pack of presets listing from 0-47. Hover over a number to see that presets name, and one to activate that preset.
